Spike Lee Says He Will Never Root for Brooklyn Nets

Spike Lee has been sitting courtside at Knicks games for as long as anybody can remember. He's been through the good, the bad, and the absolute worst with the team. But, Spike is also a devout Brooklynite.
Would he ever consider rooting for the Nets instead of the Knicks? Absolutely not. Lee told the New York Times in a recent interview that he would never, in his right mind, do such a thing.
This isn't the first time Lee has answered the Knicks or Nets question following the latter's move to Brooklyn. He took to Twitter last year in order to clear things up, saying anyone who believes he would betray the Knicks "is on crack, meth and malt liquor."

He got reggie miller made enough to send Ewing and the Knicks packing. I was at the games two years ago when Kobe and lebron scored 50 back to back on the Knicks.
What did spike do after that? he did a documentary on Kobe. Never did that with any Knickerbocker. So what has spike done for the knicks except loose games for them. When ever someone scores on the knicks they look at spike hoping he says something. he is a negative influence on the knicks and a positive influence on the rival teams star players. You should not talk until the knicks win. I am from the old school I was born in 1970 the last year the knicks won a championship. shut up dude.

Just because he works with other athletes on a professional level that does not mean he's less of a Knicks fan period! Just because you're a movie director that does not mean you have to involve your loyalty by any means! Spike Lee does not win nor lose any Knicks game - the players do! Give some valid points cuz all you did was throw in assumptions and for a guy who was born in 1970 you make no fuckin' sense - he is a negative influence on the Knicks cuz he chose to include other players from other teams cuz they fit his movies???!!! WHo gives a fuck this little crippled walking bastard is a non factor, a little piss ant who tries to involve himself in the game because otherwise he doesn`t exist.
