Timbaland: Me & Missy Elliot Should Be On Drake's Aaliyah Album

It was recently reported that Drake will be executive producing an Aaliyah album as well as using her vocals on another project. Long-time producer and close friend of the late singer, Timbaland, doesn't seem to have an issue with Drake's endeavors but says the album should not be done without him and the likes of Missy Elliot who was also extremely close with Aaliyah.
In a sit down with "The Breakfast Club" at Power 105.1, Timbaland revealed that no one has contacted him about working on the project and that Drake should consult with him and Missy before completing it.
"I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and Missy. The proper way for him to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. But to put it on his record, would just not be right."

Its seems you really don't know what you are talking about..Comparing Kelly and Michelle to Tim and Missy,lol....They gave Aaliyha new life and a sound that changed R&B as we know it now...Its only right Drake works with the people who knew her best..His ass was a shorty when she died anyhow..

Your point does not make any sense at all. Of course Beyonce was always the leader of the pack and the others were overshadowed by her but anybody knows that Timbo & Missy brought out the best of Aaliyah cuz they're on top of their game - Drake on the other hand never worked with Aaliyah!! It's ok for him to be a fan but if U heard Aaliyah's new track featuring Drake - failed collabo and Drake cursed the track into some Bs....

Na nigga, u n Missy SHOULD have been put out an Aaliyah record to pay homage....na nigga, what u SHOULD do is call drake like a man and offer your assistance to YOUR friends tribute..not jump on the Internet tryna play a young nigga for a quick buck... I PERSONALLY THINK, Jayz was jealous of the relationship between Aaliyah and Damon Dash.
He wanted Aaliyah because he knew everyone else would want her in the music biz;
