When Brian McKnight released the song "If Ur Ready To Learn", he probably didn't foresee the hilarious viral reaction. The song could've been on a porno soundtrack given it's incredibly explicit lyrics, but the song was, in the end, a joke.
Now, almost three months after its release, the song is still causing McKnight trouble. Organizers of the "Artscape Festival" in Baltimore second guessed having McKnight perform at the festival, mostly because of the profane song.
Eventually, they decided to stand behind McKnight, claiming he has been a dream act for the festival since long before "If Ur Ready To Learn". McKnight has repeatedly stated that he would never perform the song live.
