Former "Hot Boys" rapper B.G. says he is mentally prepared for prison. His case stems from a traffic stop in 2009, in which he was charged with gun possession, and later with witness tampering.
B.G. is focusing on being positive as he enters prison, as the 14 year sentence he received was actually good news. "I am relieved I found out what my fate was yesterday because I was facing 30 years and my case kept getting pushed back. I am just ready to get my sentence started because it's not RIP BG, it's free BG...I feel happy and blessed that I will still be a young man and still be able to see daylight because I am someone, a dad, a brother and a son." Like so many other rappers, B.G. plans to release music from jail. "I will have upcoming music that will be released while I am away," he said.
B.G.'s imprisonment comes soon after another former "Cash Money" rapper, Turk, just finished his bid.
