To ready the promotion for his debut album "good kid, m.a.a.d city", Kendrick Lamar has gotten together with the BET Music Matters campaign for a musical tour to begin in the fall half of the year. The LP is tentatively scheduled to release on October 2nd and will coincide closely with the releasing of the album.
Senior Director of Music Programming at BET, Kelly Griffin, had nothing but good things to say about the Compton native and sounds excited to be working on this with him.

The tour will consists of stops in 23 cities and will begin in Norfolk, Virginia on September 7th.
