Star magazine has reported that Nicki Minaj was ripped off by producer Ellis Briggs, who was hired to help her with her "Pound the Alarm" music video.  The report claims that Briggs owns a production company and took Nicki's money ($100,000) without performing any of the duties that he was hired to do.  Police have since confirmed that a report against Briggs was filed by London Alley Entertainment, which is the company that produced and shot the music video by Benny Boom.

Mr. Briggs has denied that he is guilty of any negative actions or breech of contract, and has filed a counter claim of his own.  Mr. Briggs is claiming that Nicki's production company actually owe him $19,000 and that the negative press that he has received for this issue has prevented him from getting future work.
