Last week, NBA veteran Jason Kidd was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and crashing into a utility pole. Now, an image of the Cadillac SUV he was driving has surfaced and the battered vehicle shows that the 39-year-old is lucky to still be alive.
The photo reveals the front of the vehicle completely mangled. The hood has been bent in half while the right front tire lays flat on the ground beneath the rubble. The interior of the SUV is completely exposed, showing how horrific the accident was.
An NYPD officer of 15 years was shocked that Kidd made it out alive after seeing the damage done to the vehicle.
"That's really his car? Wow. I can't believe Jason Kidd actually survived that. When I see an accident that bad, I expect at least serious injury, if not death."
The newly-signed Knicks point guard says he "had a few drinks" at a fund-raiser before getting behind the wheel of his Cadillac. What do you think of Kidd's destroyed car?
