The magic that Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin brought to the Garden last year looks to be over. Lin is headed to the Houston Rockets, who landed Lin by essentially making it impossible for the Knicks to match their offer without going well over the salary cap. The Knicks would have to pay about $43 million in luxury tax if they re-signed the young guard.
