Miami Zombie Rudy Eugene Met Victim Years Ago

According to 34-year-old Fredric Christian, Rudy Eugene, the man dubbed as the Miami Zombie/Cannibal, did in fact meet his victim 65-year-old Ronald Poppo years ago while doing community service feeding the homeless. Mr. Christian reported to The Miami Herald that:

"Poppo seemed like a nice and kind man. I remember when we gave him food."

It's unclear if Rudy Eugene actually recognized him before he attacked him and ate off 80% of his face or not. Police are still trying to figure out exactly what caused this man to become so violent so quickly, especially since it was discovered that no "Bath Salts" or any other drug aside from marijuana was in his system at the time of the attack.
