Nicki Minaj knows that she has fans of all ages and often enough, she tries to set a good example for them. The Young Money artist was a guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" most recently and during the interview, she had some words of advice for her young fans.
"I try to mold them," she said. "I always tell them to stay in school, I don't want them to grow up too quickly. I don't want them to rush growing up, I want them to take it easy because I think when I was younger I thought I was missing out on something."
The conversation then shifted to who Nicki herself looks up to. When asked, she responded by saying one of her role models is actress Jada Pinkett Smith.
"I always loved Jada Pinkett Smith, and I still do, because I had the pleasure to meet her and she just seems so well put together, mentally. Like every time I see her in interviews, she's always had this thing about that made me feel inspired."
