Music legend Stevie Wonder is having family issues. Wonder has reportedly been continually harassed by a couple claiming to have a tape exposing Wonder's terrible treatment of his family. Wonder's cousin Alpha Walker and his girlfriend Tamara Diaz told Wonder they wanted $5 million dollars for the tape, an exorbitant number that was eventually negotiated down to $500,000. Wonder was frightened by the thought of the tape being leaked, since people usually assume those types of things as true.
Wonder's attorney and the LAPD set up a sting to catch the couple and charge them with extortion. They were jailed on May 2 and have been there since.
An LAPD detective described the tape as an 80-minute rant against Wonder, which showed his son who allegedly has mental issues. It doesn't seem like the tape had any truth to it, so Stevie's troubles should be over.
