Beanie Sigel Heading To Prison For 2 Years For Tax Evasion

Sadly, Beanie Sigel has been order to serve 2 years behind bars for failing to pay his taxes. Since 1999, Sigel has failed to pay $728,536 in federal income taxes. He pleaded guilty earlier this year to failing to file his federal income tax returns for the years 2003-'05, during which he made over $1 million but did not pay his taxes which amounted to $348,077 for those years alone.
Sigel luckily avoided the maximum sentence of three years, however 24 months behind bars is still a very long time to have to sit in a jail cell.
