Mac Miller Reacts to Lord Finesse's $10 Million Lawsuit

Rap veteran Lord Finesse filed a staggering $10 million lawsuit against Mac Miller Tuesday night for rapping over his "Hip 2 Da Game" instrumental without clearance.

Now Mac Miller has responded to the situation via Twitter, even though he says he wasn't supposed to speak on the matter. In a number of tweets, the Pittsburgh emcee explained that he "did nothing wrong" and says that he and Finesse "cleared the air" after he heard the record. He stated that he tried to reach out to Lord Finesse about the issue but received no response.

Pufffy paid all the people for that sampled music. Problem is Mac Miller used the whole beat he did not sampled any part of the song. Reason why its 10 million because he is suing the record company who should know that they had to get the use of the record cleared throught Lord Finese who owns that rights to all his music. If Lord Finese was to ever used a Rolling stone song in his music the record company has to get clearance. Mac Miller thought he was paying homage to an old school rapper but the record became a hit record and he went on to tour the US and oversees with a record he basically did not produce. Finese is not going after Mac Miller he is going after the record company who should no better.
