Twitter Reacts To D'Angelo's Return Performance At 2012 BET Awards

It has been a while since the world has seen or heard any music from the soulful R&B singer D'Angelo. Well last night, July 1st, he made his official comeback at the 2012 BET Awards, and it's safe to say, he's still got it. He showed off a variety of skills as he not only sang incredibly, but he also sat down and balanced out his singing while playing the piano.
Many viewers were extremely excited to see D'Angelo performing again and have since gone to Twitter to voice their opinion about his return. Here are some of the reactions that the Twitter world has put forth regarding D'Angelo's 2012 BET performance.

how much bullsh*t can someone talk? was his first time on stage since years? only in the us. looks like a crack head? doesn't have that plastic-look you are all used to and probably love sooo much. just like a chris brown, usher, ne-yo and all dem wanna-bees. saw him half a year ago in amsterdam- REALEST and hottest shit i've seen since a loooooong time and going to see him next week in germany. people just like to talk and write bs, just to get attention.

That gay punk up here need to stay far away from nurserys & daycares. Anyway, to me D'angelo didn't perform as if he was TRYING to present his self in a WELCOME back manner. He didn't even mention, " Its been a long time, or sorry for the wait" to his fans. He shoulda Did a SING WITH ME type show... Can't expect eerbody to be witcha on nowday music..

What are you talking about? He sung the lyrics HE WROTE to "How Does It Feel" and "Sugar Daddy". What were you watching? Plus, it's not his last time on stage. He's at the House of Blues on the 4th, he's at the Essence on the 6th and he's on Jay Z's festival. Oh yeah dude, your grammar is sad. You need to take Language Arts.

all due respect to u d'angelou fans dude has talent?however it was his band that save his a**,he's up there on stage trying to channel james brown-prince,maxwell's comeback on bet awards couple of yrs ago was much better,also maxwell,and,and sade 10 yr hiatus out the music business came back to sold out audiences,and,double platimum sales in digital age.that's unheard of in the music business.get to work d'angelou.

not everyone is gonna be all pretty boyed up. look at rock stars look how they dress.lot of em are on drugs but lot of are not.i think what he has on fits the style now tho.i dont see where he looks like a crack head i just dont see that
