When Jay-Z and partner in crime Kanye West won the Video of the Year award, Kanye, Jay, and Beyonce each shared a warm embrace with one another to celebrate the accomplishment. But not Kim Kardashian. Jay-Z hugged his wife Beyonce, Kanye hugged his girl Kim and then Beyonce, but when Jay-Z and Kim K came to embrace, the contact was very minor and distant. The pair merely smiled at one another and tapped each other on the arm before Jay-Z made his way to the stage with his boy Kanye.
Was Jay just trying to be respectful of Kanye and not put his hands on his girl like that, or do Kim and Jay still have some ground to cover before they can consider themselves legitimate friends?
