University of Central Florida basketball player Marcus Jordan, son of NBA Hall-of-Famer and Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan, was arrested in Omaha early Sunday morning following a disturbance call outside a downtown hotel.

According to reports, police responding to a call at the Embassy Suites found hotel security trying to restrain Marcus, who was having an argument with two women in the hotel driveway shortly after 2 a.m.

A news release said Marcus was ''very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative,'' and it took multiple officers to control and handcuff him.

He was booked at the Douglas County Department of Corrections for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing. He had been released by Sunday night.

This isn't the first time we've seen Jordan's son in the news.  Just two years ago, a formal investigation was conducted after Marcus bragged on Twitter about spending $35,000 at a Las Vegas strip club while he was still underage at 19-years-old.

The rising senior Jordan averaged 13.7 points a game for UCF last season.
