LeBron James will be without his Miami Heat running mate Dwyane Wade in the 2012 Olympics, as the two-time NBA champion has to undergo left knee surgery and will miss this summer's games in London.
It's been reported that Wade phoned the chairman of USA Basketball, Jerry Colangelo, as well as head coach Mike Krzyzewski and let them know he will not be able to play in the Olympics.
Wade says this news is extremely disappointing. Meanwhile, he and his doctors are planning out the schedule for his surgery.
This serves as another blow to the USA Men's Team, who will also be without dominant center Dwight Howard due to surgery on his lower back.
