LL Cool J: "My New Album Is Real Authentic Hip-Hop"

LL Cool J is revisiting the roots that made him who he is today: Hip-Hop. The multi-platinum rapper is currently constructing his 13th studio album and claims that he will be taking it back to the roots of "real authentic hip-hop", with a 2012 twist.
Here's what LL had to say about the progress of his next album during his interview with XXL yesterday, June 20th:
"As far as the album is concerned, it's real authentic hip-hop, you know what I'm sayin? It's LL Cool J being LL Cool J. It's 2012, so it doesn't sound like it would sound if it were 10 years ago or 20 years ago, but it's definitely official. It's a breath of fresh air. It doesn't sound like anything that's out right now. I think it's crazy. It's the business. It's real."
