Continuing their extensive interview, Oprah and 50 Cent have begun to touch on a few more interesting points of Curtis' life. As 50 began to reminisce on his late mother, Pauline, he became slightly emotional while remembering her.
"I don't think she would have agreed with me going in the direction of the hustle. But the music and everything else that happened, I think she would be very proud of me."
50's grandmother, Beulah Jackson, was included in some conversation as she sat next to her grandson and revealed that she does not listen to his music or attend any of his concerts. She laughed and said "Too many teenagers and all that yellin'".
G-Unit's general then spoke on why he targeted different rappers throughout his career, stating that it's all part of hip hop.
"Battling has always been a part of the culture. Sometimes it's just part of the game and there's other times when people start to take to it just because the other person is the underdog at that point."
