IMO: "WTH Wednesday" Rihanna's Going After Chris on New Song "Silly Boy?!?"
"You're callin me more than ever now that were done...
You had a good girl, good girl but
Didnt know how to treat her, treat her (treat her)
So silly boy get out my face (my face)..."
"Cant live without me
Ill get some flowers for the day that you are buried
No, people make mistakes
But I just think your ass is fake
Only thing I want from you, is for you to (stay away)"
Wow! Now, that's deep.
But, there's a slight twist to this story. At first, I thought I was going to play a little trick on you guys and hit ya'll with a bait and switch. But, I'm the one that got tricked. After some thorough research, it turns out that even though in the video below you will see and hear Eva Simon, the 2004 winner of a Dutch version of the reality TV contest "Popstars," Rihanna still had something to do with the lyrics of the song. (No Kia Shine)
Check it out! While, Eva's voice is being used for the demo; the actual track is celebrated as the new song by Rihanna featuring Lady Gaga. IMO, that's only right because, Eva totally swagger jacked both Rihanna and Lady Gaga.
Either way, Eva states, "We wrote the song and the lyrics for 'Silly Boy' already in the winter of 2008 — long before Rihanna and Chris Brown were known to have any problems at all. We simply wanted to write a powerful song for women who are treated badly by their partners," Eva explains. When it occurred that Rihanna was having exactly those kind of problems described in "Silly Boy," the demo version sky rocketed on the net and the song manifest itself.
Check out the video and tell me what it reminds you of.
Okay! IMO, I see a whole lot of swagger jackin' going on... The car scene reminds me of the Kayne West video for Paranoid featuring Rihanna. I see an awful lot of Rihanna & Lady Gaga in there, with a touch of Kelis and Beyonce. All this swagger jacking reminds me of Mary J circa 2006-2007. I'm not saying but I'm saying.
What do you think of Eva Simons? Do you like the song? What do you think of the lyrics? Let me know.
