The highly anticipated interview between 50 Cent and Oprah will air Sunday night on "Oprah's Next Chapter".
There have been a number of previews provided to give viewers a glimpse of what to expect from the sit down between the two and most recently, 50 explained why he named his small dog after the television host.
"You know when they say a dog is a man's best friend?", asked 50 Cent.
"At the time, I was just looking at the situation and I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn't even know me. I gave it to the dog 'cause I was excited about the dog at the time."
50 continues on to say that he's become fond of his pet and of Oprah as well.
"I take pictures and say crazy stuff on Twitter, but it would impact because they would associate it with me saying it to you."
The interview airs Sunday night at 9 p.m. on Oprah's television network OWN.
