Erykah Badu became highly upset at Flaming Lips member Wayne Coyne, who directed the video for the group's song "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face".

Badu posted an extremley lengthy tweet criticizing Coyne for releasing the racy video which featured Erykah Badu soaking nude in a bathtub as well as her sister Nayrok being deluged with a number of different substances.

Badu did call the video "cosmic" but ultimately she was enraged that Coyne released the visual without any type of revision from Badu. In her TwitLonger message, Badu says "I never would have approved that tasteless, meaningless, shock motivated video".

According to Badu's message to Coyne, she attends that the director led to her believe one thing, instead he proceeded to do something totally different.

"First: You showed me a concept of beautiful tasteful imagery (by way of vid text messages). I trusted that. I was mistaken. "Then u release an unedited, unapproved version within the next few days."

Badu told the director that she felt his concept to the video was too "disturbing" but she would give him a chance to edit the photos to not show any body parts to which he ignored according to Badu.

"Instead, U disrespected me by releasing pics and rough vid on the internet without my approval (Contract breech) That is equivalent to putting out a security camera's images of me changing in the fitting room. I never would have approved that tasteless, meaningless, shock motivated video".

She ended her long rant by saying "And if you don't like it you can KiSS MY Glittery A** . O and Nayrok told me to tell u to kiss her a** too. Almost forgot. Peace."
