So, I'm still pregnant and liltte man isn't making his debut until April, but he's already got a sense of humor. Our last name is Oates and we're probably naming our son Otis. That would make him Otis Oates. Fine, we're already horrible parents. I know. (My husband is IN LOVE with the name, and I think it's cute)Anyways, we were in church a few weeks ago and the pastor was talking about God giving you a new name and all that. At the end he asks the congregation to raise their hand if they want a new name and, of course, we all raise our hands and wouldn't you know it liltte Otis kicked the hardest kick I'd ever felt up until that point. The timing was so hilarious I couldn't quit giggling for a good 10 minutes.
Yes, but while you may want all of the people you foollw to talk about themselves, the practice of being so narcissistic isn't necessarily good for them. In fact, one could say it is narcissistic of you to want everyone else to act with narcissism in order to get you what you want. I say you but of course I mean me as well because we all think about ourselves too much.I'm not saying I have the ultimate answer here, but I do think that narcissism needs to be guarded against. It's a complex issue, but I would shy away from encouraging narcissism.
