Amar'e Stoudemire to Attend University of Miami

New York Knicks superstar power forward Amar'e Stoudemire never played during college basketball's March Madness tournament since he was drafted straight out of Cypress Creek High School back in 2002.
But STAT will be looking to roam the campus of the University of Miami after enrolling in the institution's General Studies program.
Stoudemire took to Twitter to announce his decision and tweeted a photo of himself holding up the infamous "U" symbol.
"Just enrolled at the University of Miami. Working on continuing my education".
Amar'e is actually a Florida native, and during the NBA lockout he attended history and science courses at Florida International University.

Still, hardly anyone outside of Florida is familiar with FIU, but please continue to bash on what is objectively speaking one of Florida's best universities to make yourself feel good. Yes we may have gone to school with many out of state students, but I guess that just makes many of the locals who must attend a different school that much more hostile to us locals who could attend UM. The proof is shown in the constant need for many FIU students to belitte another school when we've done nothing to warrant the hateful and/or jealous comments. We fully support FIU & its students, yet it's people like you who make FIU look bad to everyone watching your childish behavior.

Aww. Like Babylon UM is crumbling. Miami's new proud feature is FIU. The real Miami Unversity. UM student are 80% transfer student who don't know anything but Coral Gables. Never that. FIU bra. All day!
