Celebrities have to make sure they always keep track of their court cases, if not, it will come back to bite them in the...you know the saying.  This is pretty much what happened to the New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith in South Beach last night, May 24th.

The 26-year-old baller was pulled over by police for a routine traffic stop, but when the officers discovered that Smith had a warrant out for his arrest due to his failure to responsibly take care of a ticket he received in the past for driving without a valid license, he was promptly taken into custody.  J.R. was booked in the Miami-Dade County Jail just before midnight, but his stay behind bars was very brief.

He was released on bond shortly after he was booked.
