Freeway Explains Appearance at Jay-Z Announcement

Freeway's appearance at Jay-Z's announcement for his upcoming music festival wasn't anything more than a friend backing his mentor, according to Freeway.
The Philly native spoke out about his appearance after a photo of him standing cross armed with a sullen look on his face went viral.
"I was there because I wanted to see my friend, and I wanted people to know that me and Jay are still cool. If you follow me or you're familiar with what I do on the Internet, whenever anyone comes to town in Philly that I'm OK with, I usually come and support them."
Freeway split with Roc-A-Fella in 2009, but it seems like ties are still strong.
