Day two of of Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond's drug trafficking trial began on Wednesday and unlike the first day, during which only opening statements were given, day two saw some serious developments.

Chuck Philips has written several stories in the Los Angeles Times about Rosemond being the person who had late rapper Tupac Shakur shot while at a recording studio in NYC back in 1994.

Philips, who also claimed Rosemond was a "snitch", was then laid off from the newspaper but continued to target Rosemond as a bad person. He's allegedly the one who claims that Henchman is the head man in charge of a criminal enterprise that's distributing cocaine at a high level and making $10 million a year.

During the proceedings on Wednesday, the two met for the first time and Philips was called to testify in the case as a result of his articles being pertinent to the case.

After Rosemond's attorney, Gerald Shargel, saw Philips he requested to have him removed from the courtroom, and Philips says it was a tactic to keep him from testifying.

"Shargel used me as a red herring for the jury in his opening argument. He subpoenaed me as witness not for my testimony, but so he could keep me out of the courtroom and stop me from covering the trial."

He left the courtroom in peace.
