Wal-Mart is being sued by a New Jersey man who claims that he was traumatized by a racist comment made over the intercom at a southern New Jersey Wal-Mart.

Donnell Battie is suing Wal-Mart $1 million for negligence in failing to control the store's intercom which was used to make an announcement ordering all black people to leave the Washington Township store.  Later on, a 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with harassment and bias intimidation.

Battie claims that he's needed medical attention due to the March 2010 comment, causing him "severe and disabling emotional and psychological harm."
