BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend event just added Nas to the list of performers at the huge outdoor festival set to take place this summer to celebrate the 2012 Olympic Games. The event is set to take place on London's Hackney Marshes on June 23–24, which will hold up to 100,000 people.
Other performers include Rihanna, Florence and the Machine, Lana Del Rey and Jay-Z, who will close out the show on the opening night of the festival.
Nas is currently working on plans to release his upcoming album, Life is Good in July, which will feature collaborations from Odd Future and the late Heavy D.
