Rapper 2 Chainz has certainly become one of the premier artists in hip hop since becoming independent, so him signing to a record label of G.O.O.D. Music's stature may not be that hard to imagine.
And after Kanye hinted towards a possible signing of 2 Chainz via Twitter, everybody prepared for another hot summer from Kanye and his crew.
2 Chainz recently cleared up the air waves concerning Kanye's tweet, especially the part where 'Ye said that Chainz charges a staggering $100,000 for a feature.
"He just said I'm good, like I'm ill. But we was talking and I think I was jeopardizing my brand sometimes by doing the homeboy special. So I think he felt like we should just put that out there that we ain't doing no more of that. I woulda done almost anything a couple months ago, and it was all about really reaching out because I still will, I'm still grounded, but it made sense for me to slow down a little bit being that I got an album coming out August 14th. I'm still working on that. ... I'm just trying to focus on 2 Chainz a little more."
G.O.O.D. Music has a compilation album dropping this summer. Maybe 2 Chainz will be featured on more tracks other than the "Mercy" track he's already on.
