Going to jail is never an easy journey to handle, especially when you are being sent away due to claims of unpaid child support which you strongly believe that you handled accordingly.  This was the case for veteran Houston rapper Scarface when he was forced to serve 10 months in jail in October of 2010.  A judge ruled that he neglected to pay $123,000 in back child support, but Scarface claims that he did make the payments, but he was irresponsible with filing his records to prove that he paid his dues on time.

He recently opened up to Sway on MTV's "RapFix Live" to clarify the subject in question.

"In the system, when your kids get grown and you pay all this money direct and it's time for the money to stop being issued out, they gonna want to appeal because there ain't no more money coming in no more.  So they may go and say you ain't pay nothing, so that how it go.  It was an experience that I like to touch on and not dwell on.  It was a learning experience, and my advice to any father out there is that if you send anything, you send it through the courts. That's the best way to do, because at the end of the day, you not gonna get no credit for it."
