Lamar Odom recently tweeted a message to his millions of fans that serves as a type of explanation for his poor performance with the Dallas Mavericks. Despite Lamar Odom being considered as one of the best power forwards in the league for 13 years, his recent season spent with the Dallas Mavericks has been the exact opposite of spectacular.
He opened up to his fans on Twitter about something that has been haunting him for a while and that is the death of his 24 year old cousin who Odom describes, was shot in the head and killed. The family death has taken its toll on Lamar, along with other things.
This past year Lamar was a passenger in a car accident that resulted in a 15 year old boy being killed. He and his wife Khloe Kardashian's marriage has also been strained due to public questioning and circulating rumors that the two have hit a rough patch.
With all of these stressors in his life, can you blame him for falling off of his game?
At least he's on the right track now as he and Khloe have stepped away from the reality spotlight to help him recover his game.
