On June 25th, 2005, Thunder and Lightning collided as the late Arturo Gatti faced off against Floyd Mayweather.
Arturo Gatti, a.k.a. "The Ultimate Blood and Guts Warrior", was the fan favorite in this fight, however he was clearly out matched by Mayweather.
From the opening bell the difference in speed and skill was apparent after Floyd threw his first punch.
It was a sad beating to watch Gatti have to take for 6 rounds, but still Floyd showed why he is an unbeaten champion.
He won the WBC Light Welterweight title by beating Arturo.
