Following in the footsteps of Britney Spears, Beyonce and Cindy Crawford, Nicki Minaj is the new face of Pepsi, as the brand prepares to launch their "Live for Now" campaign. The ad invites consumers to live each moment to the fullest through music and entertainment.
Nicki hasn't said much about the endorsement deal, aside from her subliminal hint on Roman Reloaded, where she rapped, 'Just shot a commercial, when I flew to the set though, I ain't fly commercial. And the ad is global, yep your ad was local.'
The commercial, titled "Now in the Moment" features a freshly remixed version of Minaj's hit "Moment for Life," which will offer a fresh take to the ads.
It was also announced that Katy Perry would also be a part of the campaign, along with Michael Jackson, which will coincide with the 25th anniversary of "Bad." The campaign will feature limited edition Michael Jackson cans and chances to win MJ-inspired jackets.
