Although some may think he should be rewarded for being a "kind, thoughtful" robber, Dallas firefighter Jesus Ventura was arrested on Tuesday after he allegedly robbed a Dallas Chase Bank.

Ventura walked into the branch in broad daylight, yelling several times to "give me all the money!" After the teller complied, Ventura decided to leave $20, saying, "Here's a tip for you."

He was caught and arrested at a nearby gas station.

In his first court appearance on Wednesday, Ventura told the court he's bipolar, suffers from anxiety and depression and didn't take his medications that day.

He was put on paid leave in March after he walked into a Dallas fire station and fired a semi-automatic pistol before pointing the gun at his fellow firefighters.
