Two Pennsylvania brothers stole an entire bridge, and then attempted unsuccessfully to sell it. Benjamin Jones, 24, and Alexander Jones, 25, of New Castle, Pa. used a blowtorch to dismantle seldom used Covert's Crossing Bridge.

They then attempted to sell the 50-foot privately owned 5.5 ton steel structure as scrap for $5,000. But the recycling company got suspicious and contacted the authorities.

The Jones brothers face felony charges of criminal mischief, theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
