Baseball player Delmon Young of the Detroit Tigers was arrested yesterday (4/27) for fighting with a 32-year-old man outside of the team's hotel in New York City.

According to reports from the New York Post, Young engaged in a scuffle with the man and ended up pushing him to the ground, causing the man to suffer minor scratches and scrapes.  What makes the scuffle and arrest worse for Young, is the fact that he was apparently "highly intoxicated" and he was forced to spend the night in the hospital before he was arrested for the assault.

Because Young allegedly shouted some type of "Anti-Semitic remarks" at the man, he is being charged with an aggravated hate crime, which is a misdemeanor charge.
