Movie director and film producer Spike Lee has caught some heat over the past few weeks due to his involvement in the Trayvon Martin tragedy.

Mr. Lee, who is known for his classic Brooklyn-styled movies, did not "Do The Right Thing" this time around as he took to Twitter and tweeted an address which was supposedly that of George Zimmerman, the man who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon.

But Lee made a terrible mistake and tweeted the address of the McClains, an elderly Florida couple, who have a son named William George Zimmerman, but who is not related to the figure in the matter of question.

Their home was subsequently left in chaos by residents of that town upon reading Spike's tweet. But it seems as though Spike has made things up to the McClains, says Matt Morgan, the family's lawyer.

"The McClains' claim is fully resolved. Mr. Lee personally called them to give a very heartfelt apology. Further, he agreed to compensate them for their loss and the disruption to their lives."

Thankfully, no one was hurt during this incident.
