Chet Haze, son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, is an aspiring artist and singer, not the "rapper" everyone has been pegging him for.
Chet, born Chester Hanks, took to his Twitter to clear up the confusion, saying "ATTENTION: Journalists, Bloggers, etc. STOP CALLING ME A RAPPER. I'm an artist, musician, and singer. I do NOT rap.. Thank you!"
Chet's parents also showed up for his show in New York last week at Greenhouse, where he performed his new track, "Hollywood."
