2 Chainz a.k.a "Tity Boi" has been signed to Ludacris' DTP Records for nearly a decade, but now he feels that it's time to part ways with his sweet beginnings.

Tity Boi explained that he has "nothing but love for Luda," but felt that he needed to branch out and be his own boss right now.

I felt that not necessarily DTP or Def Jam, it was another project that someone just threw out. As an individual who puts time and effort into it, I just couldn't be apart of something that just gets thrown out for whatever reasons. I'm trying to do my own thing, have my own imprint, trying to be my own boss. That's what I'm working on. [DTP] do have first dibs. We have to work it out where everybody is happy. We trying to figure it all out."

Still keeping close ties with his DTP family, Tity Boi is working out his collaboration on Ludacris' upcoming album, LudaVersal. His plans for the album are to get new producers on some tracks to give Luda a whole new sound.
