Famous for hits like "Everyday People" and "Dance to the Music," it's hard to believe that legendary recording artist Sly Stone is homeless and living in a van. Recently, he has been seen parking his white camper in the Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles.

According to the NY Post, Sly has befriended a local family who lets him take showers at their home. Their son also serves as a driver and assistant for Sly.

Sly's vast fortune crumbled starting in 2009 when he stopped receiving royalty checks from his manager, whom he has accused of fraud and is suing for $50 million. He aslo sold the rights to his music to Michael Jackson in 1989 for $1 million, leaving him to miss out on a lump sum of cash in years to come.
