The former Oakland Raiders quarterback's attitude is getting in the way of greatness.

The Oakland Raiders invested a lot of money in JaMarcus Russell, 2007's #1 draft pick, in hopes that he would bring the NFL team great success. JaMarcus' potential never materialized, and given several lackluster showings he was benched and finally let go in April 2010. He hired a life coach, John Lucas, who had a track record for helping athletes turn bad situations around. Initially Lucas said that JaMarcus was serious, but soon lost interest and stopped training all together, making Lucas very frustrated. It seems that now the 25-year-old's budding career has crashed since Lucas gave up on training JaMarcus stating "you can't coach desire."

Do you think JaMarcus Russell can ever turn his career around now?
