Former NBA player Sebastian Telfair described Larsa Pippen as a "fake wife." According to Telfair, Pippen reminded him of his own ex-wife, with a continuous need for attention. Pippen, ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, would travel on the team's private plane, a practice that wasn't common. After their divorce, Pippen got a chunk of Scottie's pension. Telfair also commented on the NBA pension system, saying that a pension is guaranteed after four years in the league and starts when a player hits 45.
