Earlier this year, comedian and actor DL Hughley admitted to having a change of heart about his belief in O.J. Simpson's innocence pertaining to the infamous murder case of Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ron Goldman. He explained that he now believes Simpson was responsible for the deaths. Drawing a parallel with the behavior of his own dog, Hughley suggested that Nicole's Akita dog, which also had ties with Simpson, was familiar with the person in the house that night, hinting towards Simpson's presence. Hughley also stressed that in his youth, he wanted Simpson, a fellow Black man, to be innocent due to the social climate of the times. However, he now feels regret for allowing his desires to influence what he knew to be true, demonstrating a change in perspective that he credits to maturity. OJ Simpson lost his battle with cancer this week.
