Prosecutors have charged Terry Young, a 20-year-old Kansas City native, in connection with the death of Lisa Lopez-Galvan and injuries to more than two dozen others at the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl parade last month. Young faces charges including second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action for allegedly firing a gun during the incident. Surveillance footage showed an individual brandishing a firearm during an argument, leading Young to reveal his own weapon and fire shots. Investigators identified Young through social media profiles, YouTube videos, and cell phone data.

Young was arrested on Wednesday, and prosecutors requested a $1 million cash bond. Several other suspects, including Lyndell Mays, Dominic Miller, and two juveniles, have also been charged in connection with the shooting.
