Lil Scrappy recently appeared on the Big Facts Podcast where he talked about a host of topics, including his rationale behind joining Love & Hip-Hop.
According to Scrap, he took the reality TV route in part to avoid having to rap again. Around the 24-minute mark, in response to a question about reality TV being a "death certificate" for rap careers, he noted, "I thought about, I was like, ‘Sh*t, I ain’t even got a Rap career right now, so, you know what I’m saying, I don’t even give a f*ck.'"
After finding success on television, Lil Scrappy found it difficult to go back to music and doesn't see why his former rap colleagues would either. “I be looking at n***as like ‘Why did you come back bruh? ...And, what you thought you was finna do?’”
