Recently, Diddy proclaimed he was looking to purchase the Carolina Panthers after owner Jerry Richardson announced he was selling the team. Since then, Steph Curry offered to help with the purchase, and now Colin Kaepernick has stepped up as well.
Via Twitter, Diddy said “I would like to buy the @Panthers. Spread the word. Retweet!” From there, Steph Curry chimed in with his thoughts, saying he wants in. Kaepernick hit Diddy with the retweet as well, adding “I want in on the ownership group! Let’s make it happen!”
There is no word on what the future holds for Diddy in terms of his quest to own the franchise, but with heavy hitters like Curry and Kaepernick potentially backing him, he has a shot. Take a look at the exchange above.
