Kobe Bryant recently said that if he could share the court with anyone, it'd be Lebron James.

"The Black Mamba" sat in on the Holding Court with Geno Auriemma podcast. Even though the legend hung up his jersey back in 2016, he told listeners what "could have been" had he stayed in the game.

Auriemma asked Bryant the exciting question, "If you could choose one player from NBA history to play with, who would it be?" According to Bleacher Report, rather than looking at the Cleveland Cavaliers' hometown hero as an opponent, Bryant viewed him more as a natural teammate. The former L.A. Laker broke down his professional view of how well their styles would harmonize with each other.

"He's a passer first; I'm a scorer, I'm a finisher. 'Bron is a facilitator by nature, and I'm a finisher by nature. Those two styles, I think complement each other extremely well."

Michael Jordan was a name many expected Kobe to answer with since he's looked up to him throughout his career. However, given there are so many similarities between the two, there would be more comparisons than an appreciation of their unity.

With a 20-year career under his belt and a reputation as an iconic power-player, being considered a worthy partner on the court is undoubtedly an honor.
