Will Smith finally caught up with the times and created an Instagram account on Thursday, December 14. Among his first orders of business on the site was to show gratitude to Justin Timberlake for briefing him on the concept of Throwback Thursdays. But along with a thank you, Smith had his own bit of game he wanted to put the Memphis singer up on, seeing how he is soon to embark on his second Super Bowl performance.

"JT! Thanks a lot man for the post, the brief education about Instagram, man, because this is my first day, so I appreciate the hookup. But I know what Throwback Thursday is, man. I ain't been in a hole," Smith said in what would be his very first IG video message. "Oh, and I heard that you're doing the Super Bowl, so I wanted to help you out. Like, the things to avoid at the Super Bowl is, just... avoid that," Smith said while lifting his shirt above his nipple. The skin gesture was, of course, one to help jog Timberlake's memory of the 2004 Super Bowl half-time performance that perhaps remains the most controversial to date.

Smith's first day on the gram wasn't half bad. After posting up five photos of him getting acquainted with the social media network while on the Ellen show, Smith shared a memory from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and a photo of himself as a baby. By days end he had amassed nearly 1.8 million followers.
