Forbes magazine recently released the names of this year's highest-paid YouTube stars and entering at number eight is the youngest member on the list. Ryan of Ryan ToysReview outperformed everybody else in 'unboxing,' to become the top earner in the category. The 6-year-old made $11 million in 2017 alone.

Young Ryan's parents started him in the business two years ago, and in the course of the months that have passed since then, he's gone from a name in a pre-school teacher's attendance book to a name known worldwide. Thanks to the more than 10 million viewers who have subscribed to the boy's channel, he's been able to make an easy buck monetizing off of the ad revenue and sponsored content that thrives off of his toy reviews.

It is Ryan's charisma that has helped him gain popularity. The format he follows sees him unbox toys, play with them, and then reveals if he likes them. While his earnings don't quite put him on the level of Forbes' no. 1 ranked YouTuber, Daniel Middleton (DanTDM) with $16.5 million earned, followers ought to stay tuned, as his family has helped him transition into the reality lifestyle realm with Ryan's Family Review, which has already surpassed the one million subscriber mark.
